Follow the Mad River Recreation Trail from RiverScape to Eastwood MetroPark. As you ride into the park, you should take the Creekside Trail until it intersects with Iron Horse Trail, just before Linden Avenue. Ride Iron Horse Trail to Arcadia Avenue. Take a right onto Arcadia Avenue and a left onto Russet Avenue. Follow Russet Avenue, then take a left onto Amesborough Road. Follow Amesborough Road to the end and Woodman Fen Conservation area will be on your left. Continue through neighborhoods to Oakwood. Discover a secret garden, ride past Hawthorn Hill, the daffodil house (in spring this is spectacular), the Witches Tower and Patterson Monument. Ride past Carillon Park to the river and back downtown along the river! Perfect ride when the river has flooded ... some street riding required.
