Dayton Art Institute (DAI), sits on top of Grafton Hill overlooking the Great Miami River and downtown Dayton. The museum is a great destination for both adults and children. The regular collection includes art spanning over 5,000 years of history from around the world. DAI is considered one of the top 10 museums in the United States for children. Visit the Lange Family Experiencenter to experience hands-on activities in the kid-centric space or take advantage of the many connecting activities offered, which provide opportunities for families to explore the museum and its collections together. In addition to its regular collection, DAI also features special exhibitions, adult, youth and family programs and events. Check the museums website for additional opportunities.
