Located along the Stillwater River, Wegerzyn Gardens offers beautiful formal gardens, a children’s garden and woodland walks. At Wegerzyn Gardens, visitors will find inspiration for plant combinations and learn about cultivation techniques suitable for the Miami Valley. Venture into the woodlands on the Marie Aull Nature Trail or the Swamp Forest Boardwalk and enjoy the botanical richness of the Stillwater River Corridor.
The perfect stop for a family bike ride, the Children's Discovery Garden is a child-friendly place to discover, experience and learn about nature through gardening. Divided into three main areas, the garden offers opportunities to play among interesting and whimsical plant displays, learn about Ohio habitats and grow vegetables and other backyard plants.
Wegerzyn Gardens is accessible from downtown Dayton by riding north on the Great Miami River Trail, straight through Island and Triangle Park to DeWeese Parkway.
